Audi TTS

The TT gave Audi new credibility when the concept debuted in 1995, and following its worldwide launch in 1998.? While many companies tried to copy the original TT's style and philosophy, there were many production breakthroughs that occurred with the vehicle. One included laser welding in the C pillar, and another included a dual factory production system that originated at Audi headquarters in Ingolstadt, Germany, and finished in Gyoer, Hungary.? Audi has continued the TT's evolution with the latest generation (launched April 2007 as a 2008 model year) and with its product improvement for model year 2011.

The TTS is powered by a 2-liter TFSI engine, that now received a larger turbocharger and many additional modifications obtaining a total output of 272 hp (7hp more than the previous model) while the torque remains at 258.15 lb-ft of torque from 2,500 to 5,000 rpm. The sprint from 0 to 60mph is now made in 5.2 seconds while top speed is limited to 155 mph.

The TTS comes standard with the Audi magnetic ride adaptive shock absorber technology, the Sport button, and a high-performance brake system. The car also gets new 18-inch wheels with size 245/40 tires and a new grille combined with chrome air inlets. A new color combination – spectral silver/black – is available for the interior.
All About Audi TTS
The TT RS Coupe with the S tronic launches itself from zero to 100 km/h (62.14 mph) in 4.4 seconds. The TT RS Roadster requires 0.1 seconds more for this discipline – a bat of an eye less than with the manual transmission. Distinctive design details, 18-inch wheels and an extremely powerful brake system are standard with the TT RS.

Unique and Cool Audi TT Concept
The Audi TT is now in its second generation — and both generations have been available in two car body styles; as a 2+2 CoupĂ©, or two-seater Roadster. They have been built on consecutive generations of the Volkswagen Group A platform, starting with the A4 (PQ34). As a result of this platform-sharing, the Audi TT has identical powertrain and suspension layouts as its related platform-mates; this includes a front-mounted transversely oriented engine, front-wheel drive or quattro permanent four-wheel drive system, and fully independent front suspension using MacPherson struts.

The Audi TT takes its name from the successful motor racing tradition of NSU in the British Isle of Man TT (Tourist Trophy) motorcycle race. NSU began competing in the TT in 1911, and later merged into the company now known as Audi.
The dynamic diesel engines from Audi exert an exciting impact not just in racing but also in series-production models-and now indeed in a sports car. The TT Coupe quattro with the 2.0 TDI sprints from zero to 100 km/h (62.14 mph) in 7.5 seconds and achieves a top speed of 226 km/h (140.43 mph). The Audi TT Roadster, likewise equipped with quattro permanent all-wheel drive, requires only an extra tenth of a second for the standard sprint, and continues up to a top speed of 223 km/h (138.57 mph).
In light of their high torque values, Audi is equipping both of its new TT models with quattro permanent all-wheel drive. The heart of this system is an electronically controlled, hydraulically activated multi-plate clutch, which is located in the rear of the vehicle for improved weight distribution. This clutch generally distributes up to 85 percent of the engine power to the front axle and 15 percent to the rear axle; in extreme situations it can divert up to 100 percent of the power to either axle.
A wide array of high-tech equipment is available as options, including a highly modern generation of audio devices, electrically adjustable front seats, the adaptive light dynamic cornering light system and two navigation systems with a user interface based on the Audi MMI concept-a cut above the competition.

Audi RS4

The Audi RS4 quattro is the top tier and highest performing version of some specific generations of the Audi A4 range of automobiles. It is a sports-focused compact executive car (often called sport compact in some countries), produced by Audi's high-performance private subsidiary quattro GmbH, in limited numbers, for German car manufacturer AUDI AG, part of the larger Volkswagen Group. It slots distinctly above the Audi S4, as the fastest, most sports-focused model based on the A4's "B" automobile platform.
The "RS" initials are taken from the German: RennSport – literally translated as "racing sport", and is the Audi marque's highest trim level, positioned above the "S" model specification of Audi's regular model line-up. Like all Audi "RS" cars, the RS4 pioneers some of Audi's latest advanced technology, and could therefore be described as a "halo vehicle". Furthermore, it is only available with Audi's Torsen-based 'trademark' quattro permanent four-wheel drive system.
Its main market competitors initially included the BMW M3, and the Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG, and could also include the Lexus IS-F.
Apart from those safety features that the car has, you will also come across some fun features, such as a stereo system that is complete with a 6-disc CD changer. The CD player is high quality and will be able to read not only regular CDs, but MP3s as well. It is also ready for Satellite radio, which will allow you to listen to up to twenty-one radio stations via satellite.

The new RS4 will get aluminum rear-view mirrors and cellular structure of front grille, as well as bold sporty front bumper. The wide front wheel arches and the engine compartment lid are made of aluminum, just like most components on the chassis and suspension.
We do hope the engineers from Ingolstadt will install 5.2-litre V10 FSI engine under the bonnet. This is the only way to fight the extreme Mercedes C 63 AMG and less powerful but still mighty BMW M3.
