Acura ZDX

The Acura ZDX is a mid-size luxury crossover developed by Honda for its upmarket brand Acura. The car was originally scheduled to be called the Acura MSX. The ZDX debuted at the 2009 New York International Auto Show on April 8, 2009. The vehicle was also the first to be completely designed at Acura's southern California design studio.

The car has been said to be a "new level of prestige for Acura." It features Acura's first six speed automatic transmission, advanced ventilated seats, as well as other luxury appointments. Although the ZDX shares a similar profile with the Honda Accord Crosstour, the two vehicles are not mechanically related; the latter being based on the Honda Accord while the ZDX is based on the Honda Pilot/Acura MDX.

The Acura ZDX sport utility sedan has been introduced to the world. For the first time in history, we can describe an Acura as wildly inappropriate.

Elegant Brown Acura ZDX Concept

The Acura ZDX is endearingly weird, the sort of vehicle you might expect Citroën to produce, were it still doing business in America and hoping to slake our countrymen’s thirst for an all-in-one crossover/sports coupe/sedan/SUV. What the ZDX is not, philosophically, is a Honda.

Luxury Black Acura ZDX Hatchback

It’s a low-stress machine. Though it feeds an ample 300 horsepower from its 3.7-liter V-6 through Acura’s new six-speed automatic transmission and its torque-shuffling SH-AWD system, the ZDX’s dials are angled toward luxury rather than sport. True, it does have an optional sport mode (part of the Advance package), which livens up steering effort and damper response.

Acura CSX

The Acura CSX is a model that is unique in the Canadian market, and shares more than a passing resemblance to the Honda Civic big sale. CSX is the very definition of a luxury vehicle, entry-level – a low-cost car with a luxury badge in front – you have to get customers in the chairs of the manufacturer of these products with the hope the customer shift to more expensive vehicles on that machine line until he or she will grow and earn more money.

With nav systems becoming more and more eye-pleasing and user-friendly, the one used in the CSX has graphics that look akin to a computer game from the ‘80s. Being forced to use a tiny joystick and buttons in place of a touch screen makes it difficult to use, too.

Simply having four doors instead of two makes it easier for up to five passengers to get in and out. Room up front is very good, with the standard tilt/telescoping steering wheel helping the driver out a lot. Room in the rear is fine for two average size adults and trunk space is also generous, with split-folding 60/40 rear seats allowing for added cargo when the need arises.
Acura’s Canada-only CSX is a significant evolution from the EL it replaces. Both are based on the Honda Civic, but whereas the EL used the standard Civic drivetrain, the CSX starts with the engine from the RSX sport coupe, and offers a five-speed automatic transmission with shift paddles to supplement the conventional manual five-speed.

The Acura CSX, or Honda Civic for the Japanese domestic market (JDM), is Acura's entry-level luxury car exclusively designed for the Canadian market. The CSX is the first Acura model with two predecessors, the Integra sedan (1986–1996) and the EL (1997–2005). Like the EL, it is only available in Canada and built in Alliston, Ontario, Canada.

The CSX is not a rebadged JDM Honda Civic, rather Honda Japan chose the Canadian-designed CSX as the template for the JDM Civic. Externally, the CSX shares its cab forward architecture with the American-market Civic. Differentiating the Acura from its mainstream North American counterpart include a slightly longer nose with shaped headlamp clusters, a full-width lower air intake and a slight crease up the hood's centreline. At the rear, jewelled taillamps and the shaping of the trunk's sheet metal contrast the upscale-marketed CSX from the Civic.

Acura TSX

The Acura TSX is an entry-level luxury car manufactured by Acura. Introduced in April 2003 as a 2004 model, it was sold only in the United States and Canada, but from the 2009 model year on it will also be available in Mexico. It is sold in North America under the Acura luxury marque, where it filled the gap as Acura's 4-door, entry-level sedan when the Integra sedan was discontinued in 2001 (1996 in Canada since the EL was the Integra sedan's replacement there). The TSX would also eventually replace the Acura RSX in the US (which in turn succeeded the Acura Integra coupe). As of 2008, the TSX is the smallest vehicle in the Acura model line, other than the Civic-based CSX (and the preceding 1.6/1.7EL) sold only in Canada. All TSXs are built in Sayama, Saitama, Japan.

The TSX is badge engineered from the CL-series Accord (also known as the European Accord or JDM Accord) sold in Europe, Japan, Australia and New Zealand. The TSX initially had a restyled interior and different suspension tuning than the European Accord when it was introduced; however since 2008 the interior is now standardized for all three markets. In Australia & New Zealand, the CL-series is sold as the Accord Euro in the smaller mid-size bracket, where the American-market Accord is sold in the large car category. In North America, the TSX is sold alongside the mid-size luxury Acura TL, which is based on the American-market Accord.

The Acura TSX 4 door can be a clean using cozy athletics 4 door that is a satisfaction drive an automobile. The automobile deals with well and seems gentle about its toes, generally as a result of gentle steering sense that makes it an easy task to push in a circumstance. Dealing with is actually sound which is to be likely from a car or truck produced from the eu market place. For anyone searching for a deluxe, luxurious ride with a few overall performance qualities, the particular TSX will base into your market all right. There’s no issue this seems like the front controls generate car, particularly when pushed strongly

The particular This year Acura TSX doesn’t give up about high-class, nonetheless it isn’t the best singer within the course. There are additional choices which can be even more enjoyable they are driving plus more affordable. First of all, try your Volkswagen GTI . With $23,690 for that 2 front door product, the particular GTI is around $7,Thousand less costly as opposed to TSX. At that price you get far better fuel economy, a bigger freight place and performance.

It's unfortunate they're going to add a premium to it, but It makes sense to bring it here as the Acura since the TSX already shares a platform with the Euro Accord and there's already the U.S. Accord-based Crosstour. As for pricing, the Honda Accord Crosstour starts at $29,670, just higher than the Acura TSX starting price of $29,310. It's big brother the ZDX starts at $45,495 so we're hoping the TSX slots somewhere in between.

Acura says the TSX cockpit blends, “luxury, performance and technology in equal measure” and it’s a pretty apt description. Polished aluminum and leather mingle with a mix of digital and analog instruments to form an inviting, comfortable driving space with a high-tech vibe. Standard features abound, from comfort items such as heated seats to techy 12-volt and USB interfaces. Sporting aids include well-placed paddle shifters and dead pedal.

Acura MDX

The Acura MDX, or Honda MDX as known in Japan and Australia (only the first generation was imported), is a mid-size luxury crossover SUV produced by the Japanese automaker Acura since the 2001 model year. The MDX was the first crossover SUV to have third-row seating. It is related to the Honda Pilot. The alphanumeric moniker stands for "Multi-Dimensional luxury". It is built by Honda of Canada Manufacturing Ltd. in Alliston, Ontario, Canada. It was introduced in late 2000 as a 2001 model, replacing the slow-selling U.S.-only body-on-frame SLX, based on the Isuzu Trooper. In Japan, it filled a gap when the Honda Horizon (also based on the Trooper) was discontinued in 1999. In 2003, the Honda MDX went on sale in Japan and Australia. Australian MDXs were all equipped with the 2001–2003 Touring 'Kiwi' style wheels and were all equipped with the Rear-Seat DVD entertainment system. For 2009, Acura created a crossover to slot above the MDX, called the ZDX, a four-door coupe similar in appearance to the BMW X6 and the Honda Crosstour.

All Canadian Acura MDX models, aside from the heated front seats, also get the second-row heated outboard seats as standard equipment as well. A feature unique to Canadian MDX models are headlight washers. In terms of packages, Canadian MDX models get only two: Technology and Elite. The Technology package corresponds essentially to the US model's Technology package while the Elite package is an amalgamation of the US model's Sport and Entertainment packages. However, AcuraLink real-time traffic reporting through XM NavTraffic is unavailable for Canadian MDX models.

The 2010 MDX gets a facelift, adopting Acura's new "Power Plenum" grille that debuted on its 2009 model year sedans. The most important upgrades to the 2010 model are a new 6-speed SportShift automatic transmission. An Advance package is now available that includes Adaptive Cruise Control, Active Damper Suspension, 19 inch wheels and tires, Ventilated seats and paddle shifters. Non-navigation equipped MDX models now have a rear view camera monitor located in the rear view mirror.

The MDX, a mid-sized crossover sports utility vehicle (SUV), is manufactured by Acura, the luxury car unit of Honda Motor. The Acura MDX was designed to suit the requirements of a large traveling family. This SUV was introduced for the 2001 model year and was distinctive for being the first crossover SUV to feature a third-row seating. It is closely related to the Honda Pilot, with its MDX moniker standing for “Multi-dimensional Luxury”. It was manufactured by the Honda unit in Alliston, Ontario, Canada.

Acura NSX

The next-generation Acura NSX has been a long time coming. Originally it was believed that Acura was going to unveil the all-new NSX at the Tokyo Auto Show last fall. But due to an overwhelming amount of criticism of the Advanced Sports Car Concept (pictured here), upon which the NSX is based, designers were sent back to the drawing board.

Acura is the performance and luxury division of Honda. The brand was created in 1986 and became the first Japanese luxury car line. Since then Nissan and Toyota have also introduced luxury car brands, Infiniti and Lexus, respectfully.

The first clue for the next generation NSX was offered by Acura with the introduction of the HSC (High-Performance Sports Concept) at Detroit in 2004. The advancement towards a production version has been deduced as several test mules have been spotted in tests on Nürburgring. Although using S2000 body panels, the overall sizes and mid-engine placement of the mule indicate that it is a possible successor for the NSX, the only Honda with middle positioned engine.

Acura luxury vehicle invetigation mode

Acura is the luxury vehicle division of Japanese automaker Honda Motor Company . The Acura brand has been available in the US, Canada, and Hong Kong since March 1986 marketing luxury and performance vehicles and near-performance vehicles division.

The brand was introduced to Mexico in 2004 and to China in 2006. However, Honda's plan to introduce Acura to the Japanese market have been repeatedly delayed due to economic reasons: the planned 2008 launch was delayed for 'about two years or so' and then in a December 17, 2008 announcement from Takeo Fukui, CEO of Honda, the original plan was withheld as a result of the 2008 financial crisis around the world and economic recession that resulted.
